So basically I've been playing the crap out of DDT for a few weeks now, having played it in Detroit and locally in London. I feel like I know the deck and how to play its matchups very well.

When the Grand Prix in Boston was announced I knew that I was going to go regardless of the format. Those who know me know that I play competitively but the last Grand Prix that I have attended was in Montreal in 2007.

Most tourney reports start the same: the pre-tournament hi-jinx, the round by round reports of how someone got outplayed or punted terribly and the self indulgent props. Rather than be like any other writer and insist upon myself I'll just tell it like it is... which is exactly why I've outlined already the format I am going to be using. If you don't like it, read Gerry T instead.

Out of all the major tournaments I have played in the 4 Regional Championships I attended stand out as the most important and memorable. Follow me down memory lane as I revisit those tournaments and the 4 most important lessons in my 13 years of Magic.
