For most of you this would be your first time hearing of me and I don't blame you. I can't say that the Canadian Magic scene has been the talk of the worldwide Magic community but in the last couple years it has really been blossoming and we are making our presence known to the rest of the world.

So as some of you may already know, I have been living in Western Japan for slightly over two months now. I arrived here a week before PT Nagoya and settled in for work and school. I placed in the top 100 at the PT as day 2 didn't go so well for me, but big props to Pascal Maynard and Nassim Ketita who both qualified for Philadelphia off top 50ing Nagoya. However this article isn't about the PT, but about a PTQ in Osaka I attended about a week prior to writing this article.

So I've been travelling around Europe and Japan for the last two months and with a bunch of cancellations and a somewhat dismal showing in Paris, I was definitely looking for my last chance to redeem myself and to justify the couple months worth of gallivanting around the world.
