401 Games Presents WMCQ Weekend
Where: Primrose Hotel , 111 Carlton St Toronto, ON M5B 2G3
When: April 20,21 2013
Events:
World Magic Cup Qualifier April 20
Registration: 8am-9am
Tournament starts at 9:30am
Cost:$30 Only Qualified players are permitted to play in this event!!
Format: Standard Swiss cut to top 8
Prizes will be awarded to top 16. Number of entrants will determine how many prizes given out
Top 8 receive a playmat
Entrants will also receive an alternate art Vengevine
Legacy side event April 20
Registration:11:30am-12:30pm
Tournament starts at 1pm
Cost $30
Format: Legacy Swiss cut to top 8
Prizes are as follows (guaranteed with 40 people):
1st/2nd winner chooses between unlimited mox sapphire and a foil Jace the mind sculptor. 2nd gets whatever card the winner did not choose.
3rd/4th Revised Underground/Savannah (Both)
5th/8th Revised Tundra
Pro tour “Friends” Qualifier April 21
Registration 8:30am-9:30am
Tournament starts at 10am
Cost $30
Format: Standard Swiss cut to top 8
Prizes will be awarded to top 16. Number of entrants will determine how many prizes given out
There will also be 2 additional Vendors on site.
8 man box tourneys being run throughout the weekend.

Someone please teach me Standard in the next 2 months.
PS: I'm actually stoked that 401 is running this and it's at Primrose. Is that weird? |

I suggest allowing prepayment/registration in store for the week before, if not too problematic for you
Also suggest running side drafts if not already planned |

Yeah, we'll do preregistration. I'll post some info soon.
Side drafts are definitely happening along with any other 8-man format you could possibly want.

| I would also love if you could have debit/credit facilities on site. But if not it will not be as much as an issue as at the legion, as there will be plenty of ATMs within walking distance |

I'm fairly certain there's an ATM on the ground floor of the Primrose. Unfortunately we won't have debit or credit on site.

Pretty sure there's an APP and a swip add on that you plug into the headphone jack for that. |

Just a heads up for all who are intending to play - Wizards has given us only 350 Vengevines. So even though it is unlikely we eclipse that number for people wanting to play, I just want to make sure people are aware.
