401 Games Worldwake Draft Til You Drop Feb 14th

A new Magic the Gathering expansion set, Worldwake, is coming so to celebrate 401 Games will be holding another of our famous Draft Till You Drop events.

When

Sunday, February 14th, 2010
Drafting will begin at 11:30am and runs all day whenever we have 8 people.

Tournament Structure

The format for this event is DCI Sanctioned Single Elimination Booster Draft.

Each player will build their decks from the cards they draft adding as much basic land as they wish, to construct a deck of at least 40 cards. We will have basic land on site that may be borrowed for this event, just please make sure that you return any land that you borrow.

Prizes

The top player from each 8 man draft will recieve free entry into another draft on the same day, or $10 store credit.

Entry Fee

Entry Fee for this event will be $10.00!!
Holy Crap that's cheap!! It's less than the price of 3 packs!! These drafts will run all day or until you all drop!!

Location

401 Games, Toys & Sportscards is located right in the heart of downtown Toronto, at 401 Yonge Street, near the corner of Yonge & Gerrard.
We are mere minutes away from either the College or Dundas subway stations. You can find directions and a map to the store on our website located in my signature below.

There are 2 bathrooms on site, food and drink for sale in store, and basically any kind of food you could want within a block or two.

A pay parking lot is available right across the street, as well as cheaper parking on Church Street, just a block away.

I think I'm stepping out on this one because NOT ONLY is it Valentines day and the GF would bitch slap me to the moon, but it's also CHINESE NEW YEAR. Me and her both being Chinese would result in another bitch slap to the moon, or from the moon to Mars or something.

When I did the Conflux Draft Till You Drop, I almost lost to a kid (probably age 12-14) who shuffled 6 of each land into the 42 cards he drafted. He also mouthed off the entire match.

I wanted to cry during that draft.
