We leave London, and Nassim is worried that we won't make it in time. Thanks to Charles cruising at about 160 kph we make it to the Legion with plenty of time to trade. {mtgontario and Dueling Grounds, in no way, endorse speeding to make it to tournaments.}

The mood at the Dueling Grounds Type 1 Championships was good, as over sixty players showed up to battle it out in the nuttiest Magic format ever.

It was the greatest competative event to take place on Feb. 1, 2004... Okay, probably not. Well at least our half-time show was incident free.

Before the Round 6 Feature Match started, I got an apology from Duncan MacGregor for featuring a Scepter Tog mirror. Tog has changed formats and upgraded its card drawing and countermagic, but one thing has definitely not changed - Tog on tog is still a long and tedious matchup.

Three weeks ago, PT: New Orleans revealed an Extended format so fast and degenerate that it became quickly understood that bannings were on the way. Turn 2 and 3 kills were commonplace and Tinker dominated the Top 8. Now a week before PTQ season, this tourney promised to show whether metagames decks could handle the speed of Tinker.

Hello, this is Steve from Little Shop of Heroes. I would like to thank everyone for coming out to our Magic tournament on September 14th. We had 123 magic players attend from across Ontario. Players came from as far as Sarnia and Toronto.
